Retro's Where Abouts:

This summer I have travelled a lot with my family. Man, even though it has been a month of travelling, I am now so sick of travelling from place to place. I have actually travelled across the world believe it or not but I have to admit, it was a lot of fun just to get out of Dubai's burning hot weather.
I've actually travelled to quite a few places. My first stop was at Munich in Germany. Munich is actually filled with a lot of Arabs, so it didn't feel that I had actually left Dubai except for the fact that all the websites were unblocked and that they had alcohol is the shops along with pork based products (that is disgusting). But other than that I went and rented a car from Munich's airport and went zooming about Europe.
So I stayed in Munich for about 2 days and then headed straight to Villa De Este in Italy. It was extremely nice, the hotel was like a 5 star hotel but it felt like a 7 star hotel except with a lot of antiques in the hotel :P
I even heard that George Clooney stayed there for the summer but I didn't know that until I reached Cannes in the South Of France.
Now as for the 3rd destination, I headed straight to Cannes down in the South Of France and of course I went and checked out the beaches over there that everyone was talking about. Now listen here is a piece of advice, if you are above the age of 60 it's best if you go there but if you're less than that, DO NOT GO THERE. The reason is that in the beaches they don't have ANY young women there, if there are any young women, they're just fat and ugly but there were barely anyone my age but as for the people who are the ages of 60 and above, they have a lot of disgusting old fat topless ladies there. My suggestion is not to go there, you'll get scarred for life!
After my horrible experience, I headed straight to Nice which is also in the South Of France. Now Nice is pronounced as Niece. In Nice, it was pretty nice, they did have some nice beaches but with old people in them and some fat women, so it's kind of sad and lonely to go there but the view of the place was spectacular. I loved the view of the ocean reflecting the mountains and the shops were pretty cool. They also had a historical place which is more like a plaza that was converted from a historical building and they made it more modern by adding some shops in them (such as Virgin Megastore, Louis Vuitton and so on) and they even added a Tram System. It's like a Metro but except it looks like how a go-cart looks like the one where the wires are on top of them and that they are going on the main road and so on. Just check out Wikipedia for more information.
As soon as I finished with Nice, I headed straight to Portifino in Italy. Now Portifino was extremely amazing, the hotel is located on top of a mountain and the place was surrounded by flowers and other exotic plants. The name of the hotel is called Splendido (notice how it sounds like Splendid but with an "O" at the end" ) and the place was breath taking. I stayed in a Suite with my little brother and my God the Suite was like a 10 Star hotel. It looked amazing with the Cherry colored wooden floor panels and the marble bathroom with a touch of Mahogany surrounding the upper parts of the wall and the lower part. The bathroom had a marble bath tub with golden faucets
and the shower was really nice with the marble floor and the wooden glass door with a golden handle. The sinks were even made of marble and cherry wood. The place was really nice and when we open the balcony door, you could see the beautiful lake where the sun would set and make an orange reflection on the lake followed by all the 5 star Yachts passing by with leather seats and rubber plants. And then the food was even more amazing, for breakfast they had Smoked salmon, smoked herring, smoked turkey, a large selection of eggs, fresh veggies such as mushrooms, a large selection of cheese such as mozzarella balls both plain and bbq and much much more.

As soon as I finished visiting Portifino, I headed straight to Salzburg and spent the night there, it was pretty peaceful but then it got hectic in the morning with the shopping. There's not much to see in Salzburg where I stayed except for one of the old Forts that they had over there (which I had already seen last summer).
The very next day I headed straight to Vienna.

Vienna was pretty nice, the scenery was really nice. The town was like Satwa but an older version of Satwa (Can it get any older than that?). One of the disadvantages was that they had a Mosquito infestation that was busy biting everyone that was sitting outside and not inside :P

After my Vienna, I headed back to Munich and took the next flight to the Caribbean. Now what can I say about the Caribbean, Barbados was extremely nice, the beaches were amazing. Some people got tans, others just continued to swim in the beaches and then go into town and check out what they had. Then Trinidad was a lot of fun as well. Maracus Bay was AWESOME. I loved the fact that the waves were pretty high and I really enjoyed swimming with the waves and jumping through them as well. The hotel was pretty neat. It was more like an apartment and not like a hotel because you have everything you need from the AC to the Washing Machine to the Fridge to the Internet to the Stove to the Ironing Board.

After I finished with the Caribbean, I headed straight straight to Washington DC and stayed there for about 8 days. Getting there was easy but getting back to Dubai, well it was just really tiring. The flight from Barbados to Washington DC was about 9 hours and then to head back by Lufthansa it was about 20 hours (includes the 2 hour wait in Frankfurt). Isn't that long or what?!
