Retro's Interesting Music Videos Finds: Part 2 of 4

It's been quite a while since I last added one of these interesting videos that I found, but YouTube has been down across the U.A.E for the past couple of days. I'm not sure why, but now it's back up and running....so here is a video for everyone to enjoy :)

New Dido Song To Be Revealed Soon:

I was just on Dido's website, when she just updated it about a couple of hours ago and listen to what she said:
"We're very pleased to announce that a brand new Dido song, Everything To Lose, will feature in the upcoming movie, Sex And The City 2, which is released at the end of May 2010. The track will also be available on the film's soundtrack album.

We gave Dido a shout to find out a bit more about the new song:

Did you write Everything To Lose specifically for the movie?
A rough demo of 'everything to lose' was on a cd I gave to someone with a few demos of songs from the new album. The people doing the film heard it and loved it and so we had to suddenly finish it up in a couple of days last week to get it into the film in time. It's so exciting for me that people will be hearing it this quickly after I've done it and when it's still so fresh for me.

When/where did you record it?
Rollo, Sister Bliss and I all did our bits at home. I recorded my parts in the kitchen. It's a very easy and fun way to work and is how I've been making my new record so far. It challenges me more when I've only got myself to rely on when I'm recording on my own and I've been able to really go with my own instincts and experiment before anyone hears anything. I finished it off with my brother in the English countryside (hoping not too much bird and cow noise on there!).

Are you pleased with it?
I really am. It's a song that puts us all in a good mood. It's a true love song really, even though it's talking about that fear you can get when you actually really love someone and have finally got something real to lose. I love the sound of it and I've been having so much fun with working with Rollo and Sister Bliss on this album so far. I'm enjoying getting back to my electronic roots so much. Very happy! Hope you all like it too. "

Retro's Second Blogger Anniversary:

Well as you all know, its my second year of being a blogger and I know that I haven't been doing much this year. (I blame my hectic schedule for that). So as of now I will be blogging as of this coming summer vacation, so let's just enjoy this year's celebration with some fireworks, because YouTube is down for some odd reason!

This is actually quite surprising, I remember when my brothers used to complain a lot about The Sims in general. They used to say that "The Sims is boring" or "The Sims suck". Well I also remember that I used to annoy them by constantly playing the game (because I love the game so much, it's addictive yet intriguing) and I always talk about what I did in my game on a daily basis. I used to love annoying them, actually now I switched to bothering my friends about it. Yes, am I just evil or what? :-P
Well today I was busy checking my email and look at what I found on HMV's website, it seems that they support The Sims 3 in general. Actually The Sims 3 is quite popular on the internet as well as in several stores across the globe. In Dubai, at the Virgin Megastore at the Mall of the Emirates (not the Mercato, those people over there are Nucking Futs *switch the letters of those two words to understand what I mean) they have arranged The Sims 3 as the Best Sellers Games and the Virgin Recommends As well. How cool is that?!



***Sold at stores across the UK, not a 100% sure if they sell it anywhere else in the world because I haven't bothered buying anything online, I only do my shopping at the actual store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Retro's Back:

It has been quite sometime since I last sat down and blogged. I'm telling you, for the past 2 weeks I have been under a lot of stress because of the university and other stuff (Long Story). Now I have some great news for everyone. My 2nd Blogger Anniversary is coming up. Which will be on the 18th of April 2010 and yes that means I will be doing something special for my blog. Lets see there will be new videos posted, 4 Brand New Secret Recipes (with pictures), New Photoshopped pictures and more. 

Then on the first of May 2010, I will NOT be blogging till the 17th of May, because that's the time the final exams will be going on, however I will be keeping some automatic posts during the time being. I'm going to be posting a New recipe sometime this weekend and it's going to be on how to make a homemade Tart
