Pros & Cons About Universies:

To tell you the truth, I'm actually enjoying my time in the US. Classes are going really well and the new university that I'm in is about a TRILLION times better than most universities (UOWD = Khara) in the UAE.
There are so many things that I would love to tell you about the advantages and the disadvantages of studying abroad. These are my opinions, so please don't be judgmental about my views.

Advantages of studying out of the UAE:

  • Classes are only cancelled due to really bad weather or any federal holidays and not being cancelled for no obvious reasons.
  • The weather is different, you get to experience all 4 seasons (summer, autumn/fall, winter and spring) and see rain, hail and snow (it depends on which country or state you're in)
  • Classes are very interactive
  • The professors actually care about the work you do and encourage you to improve on certain areas of the work/assignment.
  • The assignments are actually related to your field of degree that you're studying
Disadvantages:
  • Unlike all universities, there are a lot of assignments, exams and quizzes - sleep is still a luxury

Another Semester Coming To An End:

It seems like it was just yesterday, when I started the new semester in the U.S and time seems to have been moving on in such a fast pace. The holidays are literally around the corner, but I just can't wait to get home for the holidays. Life in the U.S is basically amazing- maybe a bit too amazing, it takes you a long time to realize that until the end.
Sometimes, I wonder what my life would have been like, if I had just moved out from the UAE from the beginning of my university years. I bet it would have been completely different, my outcomes would have been completely different. I would have been able to hurry up and move on with my life and just go ahead and pursue my dreams.
Anyways, that's not the point, I just have to focus on reality and just move on in life and just face the facts, that I had missed out from the beginning of my university life.
When people say that "University/College years are the best years of your life", they are not kidding. There are several types of sweet temptations over here, compared back home. The people here are nicer, and about a vast number of the people here are not judgmental types of people (sch as snobs and other jerks). The people here actually don't give a flying fuck about your life story, they just want to know you for who you are.
It's also very multi-cultural here, well also back in the UAE, but then so is the UK, it's very multi-cultural as well and other parts are joining in as well - lol-

Finally, life is just too short, so try to have as much fun as possible (in a good way, not crazy, just stay within your boundaries), because just before you know it, you would be too old to even enjoy it :)

Let Us Talk About Dido:

It seems that so far, there are quite a few articles and interviews with Dido - I wish I could interview her and ask her a list of questions and tell her all my stories. I'm adding this to my to-do list of things I would love to do and people to meet. Dido is one of them.
Anyways, back to the point, Dido was recently interviewed by several people - Links posted down below.

Dido is also in the process of making another album before she goes on tour. It seems to be official, because most of the people that interviewed her, had asked her about it and she said that yes, it's true. It will be a WORLDWIDE TOUR :D :D :D
