Driving To The Dubai Mall:

While I was driving along the Al Wasel Road in Dubai, I was thinking of putting the windows down and thought I would go cruising along the way to the Dubai Mall. On the way to the mall, a large thick grayish - black cloud had appeared in the sky and it just started to drizzle at first, but then the drizzle had lead to some rain, which was quite nice. So, while I was driving, I had come across some traffic on the road and when I looked up, something had appeared in front of the cars and I.
A rainbow was formed in front of me. I have never seen a rainbow in Dubai, since 1997. This rainbow wasn't a small rainbow, it was pretty big. It was formed close to the Burj Khalifa till Al Wasel Road. Now that is pretty awesome. Not many people saw it today, only a few of them saw it but the rest of the people were busy doing different things at the time. Even the mall wasn't that crowded today and that's all that happened today.

Retro Witnesses a Horrible Accident:

On Sunday the 28th of March at 9:00AM, there was a really bad accident on the Jumeirah Beach Road. It actually happened right in front of the Madinat Jumeirah and the traffic was backed up till Wild Wadi, well maybe by the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
So what happened was, I was running late for class and since I don't live that far from the university. It always takes me about 10 to 15 minutes to get to class but since I got up on the wrong side of bed my week has been getting worse by the second. So i got on the road and headed towards the university and before I knew it, I was sitting in traffic for about 2 hours. There seemed to have been an accident on the road, No, not just your typical accident and NO I didn't hit the car, I wasn't even driving at that time (a friend took me to my university).

A water tanker was busy doing it's routes when it suddenly flipped in front of Madinat Jumeirah. It happened right in front of the traffic signal. Also what had happened was that there was a lot of water (from the water tanker) and glass all over the road and to make things worse, a Water Pipe blew up leaving the entire road flooded with glass and water. The police had ceased ALL traffic going towards the Dubai Marina and the Palm Jumeirah and UOWD.


By the time I reached to the university, it was around 11AM, I was TWO hours late for class. Since the accident had happened, I'm not sure if the Driver survived because I think I saw an ambulance pass by but I'm not a 100% sure on that part. Also I called 2 radio stations (104.8 Channel 4FM and 104.1 & 100.5 Radio 1) and I told them the story. Radio 1 called me back and put me on Live AIR, so I told everyone about what had happened. In the end once I reached to the university, I had to take a make up class for the first tutorial that I missed (it seemed that many people missed it due to the lovely traffic flow in Dubai -__- )

Global Warming Is Starting:

It's true, global warming is among us. No matter what people say, it's true that the world is falling apart (literally speaking). Take a look at what has happened to Haiti, there was an earthquake that destroyed the country, leaving thousands dead, lost and homeless. It's bad enough that they got affected but now Chile got affected with an earthquake with the magnitude of 8.8 (YIKES), leaving 11 aftershocks that had magnitudes of at least 6.0. Poor them, they are in so much trouble and to make things worse, With the earthquake destroying Chile, the President has announced that this is a "Catastrophic Disaster" and the earthquake has left so many Tsunami warnings to many islands and countries. These places include: Philippines, Russia, Japan, Hawaii and so on.


Now with parts of the world breaking away into pieces, Dubai on the other hand has been changing like crazy. Before I remember it would rain at least once or twice every few years, since we're living in a desert. We never get to see frequent rainfall like what some parts of the world get (Europe, London, Some parts of the US and so on). Sometimes we would wish to see that but not too much.

Since the year 2009, Dubai has been getting some weird weather systems. lets see we've been getting a lot of rainfall, at least about 5 to 10 chances of rainfall during the year. Also along with the rain, we get hail and winds. I remember sometime on March last year (2009), it had been really windy one day and I remember we had a few strong gusts of winds along with some electrical storms but there was no rain until later that night and we got a surprise, most of Dubai got covered with Hailstones and it was like as if it had snowed here but it didn't and don't get me started on the temperatures.

This year (2010), the temperatures have been going a little nuts, one day it's 20 degrees, another day it's 9 degrees and another day it went up to 31 degrees. Well I'm telling you, it's insane. Also just on the 27th of March 2010, we had a set of strong winds, they were so strong that things kept flying around and wouldn't stay in it's place, leaving dust along it's windy footsteps (Don't you just love my metaphors or what?) and then at around 8:30PM, we had a Severe Electrical Thunder Storm. Leaving all outside the UAE's residents to view nothing but loads of flashing bolts along the country. Since many people live in the Jumeirah Area, Some sources told me that even some lightning had struck around the ocean and the lightning was so strong that most phones were down, TV Signals were gone, Internet Signals were fading away and many places flooded.

Then it finally started to drizzle for about 3 seconds followed by a gush of water. Many people were drenched with water and some hail hit some areas. I remember at around that time, I stuck my head out the window to call someone and I couldn't because in just a couple of seconds, I was soaking in a lot of water .
With all this going on, my lazy cat "Dido" (Yes, I named my cat after the singer), managed to sleep through the storm. How could anyone fall asleep during this weather, I remember that my own grandfather couldn't sleep with all that flashing light and rain making so much noise. He kept blaming me for it, but frankly I can't make all that noise on my own :P

Eventually the rain had manage to cease for a while but as Gulf News predicted, that we will be facing some unstable weather for the next couple of days. Oh great, just my luck, I was planning to go to Aquaventure this coming week since I have nothing to do on my free time. Well so much for that theory, I guess I better plan something to do indoors.

Don't you just love the weather we've been having across the UAE or what? I'm actually enjoying the weather until the summer because, I know for a fact that the temperatures will go above a million degrees :P

Retro's Mall To Be In:

Now we all heard of all the malls we have here in Dubai. There are so many malls such as Mall Of Emirates, Mercato Mall, Town Center, Dragon Mall, Ibn Batutta Mall, Marina Mall (Dubai Marina) and so on. I think that those are enough malls in Dubai but Dubai keeps on building more and more malls. It's nice to get a chance to explore the New Dubai (Bye Old Dubai, We'll Miss You).

Now which is the Mall To be in?

Dubai Mall is the Place to be in. Now forget Mall Of the Emirates, that mall is literally boring. The only good thing about Mall Of The Emirates is that they have a Virgin Megastores that is a billion times better than any of the branches located in the UAE and that they have Ski Dubai (an indoor Ski & Snow Park). Oh Yeah and a Metro Station.

So what does Dubai Mall have to offer the world?

Dubai Mall has so many things to offer, they have an amazing book store called Kinokunia (sorry if I spelled it wrong), Some amazing electronic stores, A bunch of clothing stores (Start with the letter A and ends with the letter Z. Such as: Hang Ten, CK, Gucci, Prada, Bossini, Zara and so on), they have both Formal and informal clothing stores (Bloomingdale's has just opened this month at Dubai Mall). They also have an amazing food court (we even have our First Halal Taco Bell) and it ranges from expensive (Karma Cafe) to Less Expensive (Taco Bell, Mc Donalds, Baskin Robbins & so on). For all you ladies out there, Dubai Mall is one of the largest malls in Dubai and that means that they have the largest Gold Souq here. Prices may vary during the DSF. Now for all the children here, Dubai Mall has some really nice stores for the young ones (Sega Republic, KidZania -Now the kids can start training for some of their future careers like being a pilot and so on. Also Hamely's Toy Store is NOW Open for everyone ).

Now For us Teens, What does Dubai Mall have to offer us?

Say Hello to Reel Cinemas, Enjoy a luxurious treat with nice fluffy seats and watch some amazing movies (WARNING: Side Effects Include: Overdose of Happiness, turning into a Shoppaholic  and dizziness as well as Nausea (from too much fun)).

Calling All Chocoholics:

Please direct your taste buds to Dubai Mall as you can go to Dubai's largest Candy Shop Ever. Experience delicious New types of chocolates (such as Tea infused chocolates & Chocolates with different types of twists like citrus flavor, chili flavor -yuck and so on) and if you are interested in candy (there is Taffy, Fruit Rollups, Tootsi Pops, Lolli Pops and so on.) And with all of this, you can even buy your own bag of mixed Jellybeans. Imagine how wonderful that sounds, and to make things even better, Dubai Mall is not as expensive as most malls in Dubai. The prices here vary. It all depends on what you buy.

Home Department:

Dubai Mall also has a Home Decor Department. In this department, there are many stores that sell furniture for your homes. These include beds to sofas to chairs to kitchens and so on. If you're interested in buying some furniture. Please STAY away from the following stores, since they are expensive for no reason:
-Iwannagohome (the name sounds corny and their furniture sucks big time and the prices are outrageous)
-Armani Home (Most of their products are made up of cheap materials except for their kitchen department).

Coffee anyone? Lets sit outside on the terrace and have a wonderful cup of coffee or even have a meal and just sit and enjoy the fantastic Dancing Fountains in front of the Burj Dubai  Khalifa 
Last but not least, if you have to do some last minute grocery/supermarket shopping, step right up into the Waitross Supermarket or if you want to try something Organic, then visit the Organic Market. Both of them are located in the Lower Ground Level of the mall.

Education Wise:

Dubai Mall has a great place to get some sort of education, other than going to school or to the university, why not explore the Marine life by visiting the Dubai Mall's Aquarium. You can learn about the different types of fish and other exotic animals and now Dubai Mall has their own set of Penguins at their discovery center. There is even an underwater zoo, where you can see all the sharks, stingrays, hamours (the local type of fish in Dubai) and the rest of the 330000 types of species. The prices for both the Underwater Zoo and the discovery center is 100DHS per adult (I'm not too sure about the prices for kids)***
Now, as for the Children, you can now let your kids go and start training for their future careers over here. There is a place called KidZainia, where your children can start learning more about their future careers and even get a head start on them. They can choose to be either Teachers, Artists, Pilots, Firefighters and much much more.

Are you convinced yet? Well I hope so, because to tell you the truth Dubai Mall has EVERYTHING you can imagine, except a Virgin Megastore (those B@$#!%!$ for treating me with disrespect) but if Dubai Malls open  that, then EVERY single mall in Dubai would go bankrupt. This is from my point of view of course. So if you're game, then come on down to the mall. This is the place to be in. Also this mall offers a great form of exercise because since the mall is about 12000000 square feet, then you can walk around the entire mall and of course lose weight as you go shopping :)

*** Prices may vary when it comes to visiting the Underwater Zoo and the Discovery Center, because if you want to go on a glass-bottom boat ride, that costs you an extra 25DHS per person and if you want to feed the fish in the 5 story glass aquarium then that costs 5 DHS per Jar per person (you literally buy a jar of fish food and feed them yourself, NO, you're not swimming with them, you're feeding them from the top of the aquarium)

Grand Opening In Dubai:

The Burj Dubai (which has now been renamed to Burj Khalifa) has finally opened in Dubai. It has opened on the 4th of January 2010. So many people just got out of their homes and some even ran up to sit on their roofs to watch the Burj Khalifa open with a massive set of fireworks coming all around the building and then it was followed by glittery lights sparkling like when the light refracts from a diamond.
As soon as the Burj Khalifa had opened, the media has written so many articles about the grand opening but it has come to my attention that the Western Media is being down right mean. They are literally bad mouthing my country and the NERVE of you illiterate, incompedant losers, don't you have anything better to do rather than bad mouthing Dubai and the rest of the Arabian places. I think it's time for all of the Western Media to get their act together. Now I also know why ALL the West is starting to hate Dubai, it's because we are getting ALL the tourists and we LOVE getting attention. Sorry Paris Hilton, Dubai is now the main center of attention!

I finished all my exams, so now I have officially started my holidays. I would like to take this time to wish everyone a "Merry Christmas" and a Happy New Year. 

Note: I will be posting a few pictures during the next couple of days and then as January 4, I will be opening my new blog, which will be based on Stories only. So I will start writing about my cooking stories, and a few life stories and so on. So be on a look out for the link for my new blog. Has It Been That Long?

Doesn't it feel that time has passed by really fast. I remember when I heard so many songs such as the Macarena or ATB - 9PM or even Eric Clapton. Also time has been going by so fast, that I remember back in the 1990's Dubai was just a desert that had very few buildings built here, now Dubai just looks like a Christmas Tree. I remember my parents told me that before back in the 70's Dubai was just sand and Sharjah was more like the place to be because in Sharjah, they would be the only place in the whole of the Emirates that would have a fast food place over there and I think it was called "Wendy's". And one time I remember my parents also mentioned that the roads were mainly made up of sand and it's not really like the roads we have nowadays.
Even technology has changed over the past 19 years. I remember back in the 1990's the coolest gadgets used to be the Nintendo 64 and the Dreamcast. Now it's a tie between the X-Box 360, Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii. Hmm I wonder, what will the world look like 20 years from now? I also remember reading something about the 1950's when some people predicted that the future will consist of flying cars, but so much for that theory. I think that might be done in about another 500 years from now. Can you imagine what Dubai would look like in the year 2100? I bet by that time it would look completely different and that the Burj Dubai would not be the tallest hotel in the world, it would probably be some other building even bigger and I'm guessing that the price of Pepsi would be 25 Dirhams for 1 can and that would be considered to be the cheapest, imagine how much would a meal at a cafe would be? I wonder how would even the technology would look like? Who knows?!

Today In History: The Dubai Metro Opens

The Dubai Metro will be open to the rest of the public on the 10th of September 2009

The Dubai Metro has officially opened on September 9, 2009 at 9:09pm and 09 seconds. So it was launched on 9/9/9 at 9:09 and 09 seconds. Imagine that!

Once the Metro has opened, it will be heading to the following places located on this map. The Metro is busy being displayed on TV on "Dubai One" Channel. His Heinous Sheikh Mohammad was the first person to get into the Metro and go from the Mall Of The Emirates Station to the DIFC (Dubai International Finance Center) and from there he went straight to the Union square and pressed a red button to activate the next station . How neat is that?!

Just before he went on to the Metro, Fireworks were shot up into the air at the Mall Of The Emirates Station. From here, you can see all the colorful fireworks go up in to the air and watch the show. Sorry to inform you but this can be seen ONLY in Dubai's Mall Of The Emirates Station, where only the VIP and Press and other important people are invited. And sorry but no Celebrities have been invited to this event. This is the most exclusive event in Dubai, and just imagine how all the celebrities must be thinking now. Here is what's I think some celebrities are thinking of:

Paris Hilton: "Hmm, I wasn't invited, of all the nerve!"

Angelina Jolie: "Time to continue taking care of the kids"

Victoria Beckham: "I must find a way to get invited to the grand opening of the Dubai Metro, Hmm, I wonder what would happen if I sell all my Gucci handbags at a price of 4.7 billion US dollars?"

What is the Dubai Metro?

The Dubai Metro (مترو دبي) is the first Metro system to be opened in the U.A.E , Well I know there is some underground subways in Sharjah but I don't really know much about that. Wikipedia has said somethings about the Metro which you can read over here.

The Metro is basically a train system that is totally automatic and it has NO driver in it. It's something new in the U.A.E.

Is the Metro going to be a little classier than the Underground systems in London and the U.S?

Well, yes. From what I've heard on the Metro's website on one of the stations they will be having some Chandeliers lighting up the place. "The main underground station of Khalid bin Waleed Station (Burjuman) will be lit by chandeliers"

Let's Talk About Dubai Mall:

Today, I had decided to go to the Dubai Mall and let me tell you this time they have really updated their stores. It's not like the Mall Of The Emirates, where it's just boring, the only good thing they have there is the Virgin Megastore and the Ski Dubai but that's it. Now Dubai Mall has finally opened some brand new stores. They have finally opened quite a few stores, and they have also opened what everyone has been waiting for. They opened the Cinema, SEGA Republic (which will be explained shortly), Geekay Games, The Gaming House and much more.

What is the SEGA Republic?

SEGA Republic is more like Nintendo World Store. It's basically like a SEGA store/ Theme park. Think of it like a smaller version of the Disney World but except minus the fact that it's less childish and more like you are in the actual gaming world. For all Sonic Fans, YOU should go to this amazing place!

Now other than that, KinoKuniya (The Thai Bookstore at Dubai Mall), has updated their books and magazines. You can now find almost everything here. You can find things from A-Z such as Computers to Japanses Mangas, Self Help Books to Fittness and Health, Comics to Prima Guides.

And the good thing about this bookstore is that they sell Prima Guides, not like Magrudy's or Borders. Who don't sell those and they always tell you "I'm sorry sir/madam, we do not sell those books".

SEGA Republic Information: Catch a glimpse of SEGA Republic, the 76,000 square foot indoor theme park coming to The Dubai Mall this summer.

There was only a nun! She was absolutely lovely though and she'd been a nurse before she became a nun. She basically just held my hand and looked after me till we got to Bangkok

The U.A.E's First Case of Swine Flu:

Everyone is advised to stay away from Miss Piggy due to the outbreak of the Swine Flu

News reports say that the swince flu (H1N1 Virus) has spread through out the world affecting many people and places. The following places have been infected with this serious disease:

• Mexico (the place where it all began)
• New York City (they had to close down many schools and they had to quarantine many areas)
• Texas
• The U.K (even in all the airports people are starting to wear masks)
• China (this sounds like such a cliche that they would get it and in the end they did)
• Japan 
• France (Sacre Bleu!)
• Spain (Que?!)
• Italy (Mama Mia, how did that happen?)
• Kuwait (Dubai's next door neighbors)
• Bahrain
• Germany (oh man that sucks)
• Israel (stupid Jews, thats what you get for being a stupid Jew)
• Peru
• Costa Rica 
• New Zealand (that's it I'm not buying anymore steaks from Spinneys. Most of their steaks are from New Zealand)
• Ireland (oh no, one of my friends is half Irish :O and my cousin is over there!!!!!!)

All of these places and many more to come but could you believe that Dubai has actually confirmed the first case of the swine flu virus (H1N1). This is really tragic but not many people seem to care about it. I guess once everyone has got a chance to read the front page of the Gulf News then they will understand what has happened. My New Replacement Mall:

Out of all the malls Except for Mercato, I would have to say that Dubai Mall is one of the best malls in town. Many people would say that Mall Of The Emirates is better. Hah, Mall of The Emirates is one of the most boring malls that I have ever been to in Dubai. Now what does Dubai Mall have to offer everyone?

Dubai mall has so many great stores available so that everyone can shop till they drop. It goes for both guys and girls. For guys we can buy things like clothes, video games, movies and hey check out the new Sega Republic which is opening on September. So for all you gamers out there, Dubai Mall is the place to be. As for the girls, well there's clothes, cosmetics stores and many other things. One of my friends told me that Bloomingdale's is opening soon but I don't have anything to say about that. Now for the children, there are also many stores for them to buy things such as clothes and Hamely's Toy store. Hamely's Toy store is one of London's greatest and most finest toy stores ever. It even beats Toys R Us.

Dubai Mall also has a great food court which is always crowded due to all the great places they have to eat. They have almost every type of food in the world and this goes from American to British to Greek to Asian to Mexican to Italian to Arabian. Also this mall is the only place in the UAE to have Taco Bell and get this it's all Halal :D :D :D

As for desert that's another story, they have lots of places for all us chocoholics like for example they have about 4 Chocolate Bars - no, not as in alcohol just millions of types of chocolates. Then they have 2 ice cream shops (which is perfect to have during the hot summer season) and they have some candy kiosks :-)

Now for the Caffeine-Addicts. Who loves coffee? Well Dubai Mall also has over 30 coffee shops ever which is good for everyone except for kids.

finally lets talk about technology. Dubai Mall has a long list of stores to get the latest technology and it also includes places for mobile phones ^__^ and of course Etislut & Du has some outlets there :P

There is also one of the biggest Aquarium is available. This aquarium is 3 stories high and it has over 33,000 species of marine-life in it and to top it off, there is also a discovery center where they have many other types of animals such as Piranhas & even Penguins. So what are you waiting for. Go and check out this mall. Retrotrut's Mall Rating is 10/10

I am so happy today because it's my birthday. Today is the day I turn 19 years old. Time passes by so quickly :S well since I'm finally 19 years old I posted a music video down below. Disturbing Weather In The U.A.E: Days 1 & 2

This week in Dubai we have been experiencing some crazy weather changes. Dubai has never experienced this type of weather in a long time. So it goes like this:

Day 1:

• Sandstorm - On Sunday we had a bad sandstorm and the sandstorm didn't stop until Tuesday. The sandstorm brought extremely strong winds until the satellites from roofs fall down and signs and billboards fall down. From what I've heard that in Al Ain, that the winds were really bad that in one residential area (I don't know where exactly) some of the satellites from the roof fell down (literally speaking) on some of the cars in that residential area and it was followed a big huge billboard falling down on them as well. This was pretty freaky, I wonder how the owners must be feeling now. They must be upset right now.
• Temporary Heatwave - As soon as the sandstorm started dying out, the temperatures shot up to 36*c and in some parts it was 38*c. The heatwave went on until Wednesday evening.
• Thunder & Lightning - On Wednesday evening the temperature just started dropping like crazy, strong winds were blowing sand and dust as well as other things in the air (bags were flying as well :P) and at the same time there was lightning going on and it was very cloudy but it didn't rain for 2 hours. Then suddenly at 8:45PM it had started to rain all over Dubai and at 9:00PM in the Garhoud area, it was raining and hailing. Yes it was hailing. The entire road from Garhoud to Sheikh Zayed Road was covered with hailstones. All the cars came to a sudden stop in the tunnels because of this, people were running for cover on the Sheikh Zayed Road and they were all watching the hail drop. Then the hail finally stopped and shifted towards other parts of the U.A.E. and it has hailed in Safa Park and everywhere else in Barsha. Man it was that bad. Then the rain had calmed down in Dubai. But it had started to affect Al Ain, from what I heard is that XTR called me and told me that the wind speed over in Al Ain was strong and he had never experienced anything like that. Don't worry the weather is like that accross the U.A.E. and we cannot do anything about it. UPDATE: I also heard that there was hail in Bur Dubai, Satwa, Jebel Ali & Some Parts of Sharjah, how convinient is that?

Day 2

Now it's day 2 and as I look out my window I can see that it's pretty cloudy, then it gets sunny for like a few seconds then it gets back to being cloudy. It was drizzling this morning since 11AM (thats the time when I woke up) till now. But it would drizzle for a few minutes then it would just stop. My friend told me that this morning it had rained a lot so the weather was pretty bad.
OMG are you seeing whats going on outside, it's nice and sunny. Oh God I wish it would just keep raining a lot until next week. Let's hope that it rains a lot so that the ministry of education would have to give us 3 days off for the bad weather. Anyways let's get back to my story.
I was just reading some of the latest articles from Gulf News and so many things have been postponed accross the U.A.E due to the amazing weather. The following things have been affected in the U.A.E:

• The World Water Day Celebrations in Abu Dhabi has been postponed due to bad wather. It will resume on the 10th of April 2009
• Dubai World Cup's "Arabian Nights" were forced to change their location to a covered place. I think they have moved to the trade center in halls 7, 8 & 9. It's NOT cancelled or anything they just moved it there.
• Traffic - expect a lot of traffic due to the weather
• Flooding - There was a lot of flooding in the Wadis far away from Dubai, many people lost their homes due to the floods

Are You Busy?

Yes I have never been so busy in my life until now. I swear to God, these are one of the busiest days of my life. Well let's see, I had a math midterm yesterday and I think it went well. This Calculus Midterm is supposed to be a midterm that has things like "solve the following equation" or "find the limit of 5X-5/X when the Lim of X is 5" well guess what. That was mostly a lie. The calculus quiz that I had was more like a definition exam rather than a solving exam. At least 70% of the paper was just answer the questions, 10% of the paper was write your name and 20% of the paper was solve a few questions that makes about 100% of the paper. So expect to get a 100% as your grade. Wrong, we're talking about calculus here. Expect at least a grade of D or even less. There is a 0.0001% chance in getting a B grade in this subject. But it is pretty funny sometimes but it's a burden on people's heads.

Now getting back to how my life has been so busy. Man there is not enough time in the week to finish everything and there is NO time to even breathe this week all thanks to these F***ing midterms. This is a burden on my head. With all these crazy assignments that we're getting from the professors and these stupid midterms taking up a lot of our time. There is NO time to do anything. Unfortunately I have to stay awake till God knows what time until I finish doing my design project (which is due tomorrow) and I have to finish the remaining part of my freaking biology and get this, I'm having a big huge headache all at once. I just can't concentrate anymore. I've been studying since 4PM till 7:30PM then I took a break and then I continued from 8:30PM until now. Imagine this my brothers are having more fun than me. One of them is having midterms but he's lucky he only has the easy exams left and my big brother has nothing to do but chill until the end of time. My mom was busy talking on the phone with some of her friends. Why does everybody get to have fun except C.U.D. students. I heard that even students at A.U.D are on vacation at the moment. They are enjoying their Spring Vacation while the rest of us are just killing ourselves with these bloody exams. 

I believe the Minsitry has nothing to do other than just torture us. They don't think we're human beings. So I think they must believe that all the students are robots because we have nothing better to do other than studying. The main reason why I think that they are like that is because they have nothing better to do and they must also believe that we (students) have no feelings.

So I guess they are enjoying the wonderful weather we are having in Dubai while the rest of the us are being treated as robots :(

I wish that there was a long set of holidays and the ministry would say "Enjoy your 1 week vacation and go ahead and enjoy this wonderful weather that we're having at the moment. Try and enjoy it before it gets too hot until you can't breathe!".

Also Expect a major update as of this Thursday because I will be posting some new posts as well as a different template. Well there is going to be some changes around here. There will be an announcement made tomorrow night about the blog update. I will be closing the blog for a few hours. When I say closing the blog I mean I'll be giving only a few people access to it the rest of you won't be able to view it until the blog has been modified.
