Retro's Desktop Pc Issues: Fan Issues

This is what I'm going to do to my PC if it still refuses to respond!!!!

Have you ever felt like going on your desktop pc at home and had decided one day that you will probably stay up for about at least a couple of hours just to play some games or probably go and browse the internet? Well I felt like doing that tonight, which to some point, something strange happened today.
Today I had decided (since I couldn't sleep of course) to go and use my desktop computer for a couple of hours and I was thinking "hey, why don't I go spend half an hour on Facebook, then check out tonights news at Gulf News and then why not I go play The Sims 2?". So I went online, dealt with Facebook, I checked my inbox and commented on some of my friend's statuses and then I logged out of there and headed on to Gulf News to read the headlines of todays world problems.
Then since all that took about 45 minutes, I should restart my desktop PC before I even play my game and I did. Eventually after restarting my pc, I ended up having a couple of problems. Once everything was up and running my desktop pc decided to quit on me when I was playing my game.
Now just imagine, the loading time of my game (The Sims 2) took about 45 to an hour due to my pc acting up, so I was like who cares, it's probably Kaspersky doing some quick scan (but it wasn't). So as soon as the game loaded, I just went to play with a random family and believe it or not. In less than 5 minutes the fan from my desktop computer started making noise. Not like any noise, it was more like a buzzing sound BZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
And I was confused at first, so I was like WTF? And then the sound started getting louder and that's when I just decided to quit the game as soon as possible because my pc sounded more like it was going to explode and maybe set my room on fire (which I did not want that to happen). So I quickly hurried up and pressed the exit button and the sound of the fan kept getting louder, So I was like "That's it, I have to manually press the restart button on the PC and see what happens". So I did and now the fan had instantly calmed down. The strange thing was that I didn't bother downloading anything new for my game, I have one of the least number of downloads. I remember reading on some forums that people would have at least 8 to 9 GB of downloads but I only had about 6GB (including music and the neighborhood files).
Now I don't know what to do with my desktop PC? I want to throw it out the window (literally speaking) But I need to back up ALL my downloads (don't expect me to download everything from scratch.) And take my movies but this stupid PC of mine is refusing to copy any files. So whatever shall I do? I was thinking I am going to call the repairman and me and him are both going to try and back EVERYTHING up from my desktop PC and then I will literally throw the desktop PC out the window and end it already.

Broken AC:

This is how I feel. Notice how hot it is!

Oh God, I am so hot. During the past couple of days I swear to God that my AC was broken because the "compressor" blew up (eh?). You might ask how did that happen, well it was because of the sandstorm we had in Dubai a long time ago. There was sand everywhere in the compressor and then one day it went "POOF". Say hello to hot air and start melting.
So the repair man came to replace the blown up compressor and guess what it was working for a whole 3 days until "POOF" again. Now it's a billion degrees in my bedroom. How inconvinient, I can't even sleep since it's too hot in here.
What shall I do to keep cool since it's 1AM right now? I feel like fire and I'm trying to keep cool by drinking some water (but not too much of it).

Retro's MELTDOWN:

Yes I've finally had a nervous meltdown thanks to my not so amazing life. After having a rough day sturggling with my "Calculus 1". I think I've had it up to here with Calculus 1. It's driving me nuts. The teacher literally flunked 89% of the class. NOBODY is happy and everyone is in a  crappy mood including me.

Well this is why this week is considered as "STRESSED OUT" week. I hope you all understand that I won't be blogging much nowadays since my university is also giving me a tough time with all the work they keep piling up on me. I just can't stand it. Now I basically have NO SOCIAL LIFE. The only thing I'm supposed to do is study as if there is no tomorrow. Just study. If I hear that word one more time I am going to lose it and you wouldn't want that to happen, now would you?

Here is what's going on in Gaza

Now this just sucks, Israel is being really unfair. Just look at what they're doing to the poor people in Gaza. They're cutting power, gas, food supplies, medicine supplies and a lot of other supplies. Now this just has to stop here but what are we going to do about it?

The UN tried helping Gaza but it's not working out. They even called Israel and asked them to stop and those bloody b******s refused to do that. I think they want to obliterate Gaza. And Now the Americans are on the Israelis side. Everyone in the world is upset!

Here's what to do. Everyone must boycott the following things:
  1. Starbucks - Yes this is the evil of all things. Most of the money that Starbucks makes is being sent to Israel to go and buy weapons. So try and avoid drinking coffee here. I would recommend Second Cup or any other Coffee Shop.
  2. Mc Donalds - Those stupid Americans are making everyone's lives more difficult. Just look at the picture of the Gazanian girl above
  3. And finally AVOID watching Adam Sandler's movie Bedtime Stories- Adam Sandler is sending half of his money to Israel so that the Israelis can kill the people in Gaza. Now we just need to stop doing these things for the next few days or possibly weeks!

Gloomy Days

Today I've noticed is one of the gloomiest days ever. I've never seen any day gloomier than today. Except from 3 years ago when my *sigh* grandma passed away. It was gloomy for quite sometime during that year.
I think I came up with the solution why this day (Tuesday, January 6, 2009). First thing is that there is a war in Gaza and the situation doesn't look good at all. These stupid Israelis are attacking Gaza as if there is no tomorrow. The UN tried stopping them but it's not working at all. So Gaza is screwed. The second thing, the people in Dubai seem to be really quiet for some odd reason. I'm not sure why everyone in this place seem to be acting sad. It's like they're mindless drones that just feel like killing themselves. The third thing is that one of my best friends ( I won't say who) is having some problems at home.
Could this day get any worse? I ask myself that. YES it will. My Grandfather today was bitching about me using the phone for a long time (which was for about exactly 6 minutes) and he's arguing with me that blah blah blah I talk a lot on the phone. Well screw that. I am not going to take any more of this bull crap. Hmm what am I going to do about my current situation?

Oh yeah and to make this even worse, you should see how sick (not as in I have the flu or something) of being on this f***ing Atkins diet. It's not even working. My mom thinks that I'm gaining weight. I don't know how I'm gaining weight when the ONLY thing I'm eating is a lot of vegetables and very little chicken and beef. WTF is this rubbish. And I ask myself, when will all this be over?

The answer is never :(

I know I shouldn't be saying things like this but now I don't even give a rats ass about this!

DUBAI HAS GONE TOO FAR

seriously Dubai has gone too far with they're "blocked sites". I understand that they block some sites due to porn, spyware downloads, gambling, dating sites (like www.orkut.com), malicious downloading sites, sites that deal with religion and things to do with voice like (VOIP). But Dubai has gone way too far. Dubai has actually blocked paysites.mustbedestroyed.org I know it sounds funny but they only mean that The Sims 2 paysites should just stop charging a lot of money for some small pictures.
Note:all porn sites for TS2 has been disabled. DUH. But for all the other sites like exnem or simslice or TSR they have been blocked because of what ETISALAT!
Etisalat has gone way too far with they're crazy shenanigans (ideas). well thats it. Etisalat you have got to unblock that site or else you would have made the entire Sims players UPSET and you don't want that to happen. Some of them might just stop buying games and things in dubai - which will lead to no more profit in Dubai, then some of them (or maybe all of them) might simply leave Dubai because of its crazy rules. Or who knows what's going to happen!
I SUGGEST THAT YOU UNBLOCK THAT SITE NOW!!!!!!!!!

please do not block my blog or else I am simply going to go insane and start cussing the daylights out of etisalat and I will simply convert to DU and I will convince the whole of Dubai to do so!

What is going on with the Supermarkets?

Seriously, What is going on with all the supermarkets. I am seeing so many people there in the Union Co-Op and God they're not Arabic people they're all these crazy tourists. Russians, British, Americans, South Africans, need I go on? About a few days before Ramadan even begun the Union Co-Op was not even crowded but now since we (Arabs) want to go and shop for things. We can't. It is way too crowded. The lines at the counter are endless (not forgetting the traffic in Dubai, Don't get me started). The Co-Op is out of almost everything from A-Z. Cheese Samosas to Vimpto to Honey to everything else. Even Homous & Mutable. It is unbearable. Just like the heat and the long traffic jams. And I was like " Ugh, How do you put up with that?" well Don't ask me how did I put up with that.

Life is really hard to follow when...

Life is really hard to follow when you get your grades back. I just received my grades in a specific subject AND I am really UPSET! I spent 3 hours just solving and solving the same questions and I got the worst mark of my life. This mark is totally inappropriate. I wish I got a better grade but I got a lousy low mark. so thats it I hate my life! I feel like I've been cursed or something. And I guess its true what they say about studying a lot. I have studied a lot for that quiz and I still did bad so then the formula for that is:

STUDY=FAIL

I'm not blaming the teacher for this at all so (Teacher please do not get offended by this post). This formula is true and it does exist. This formula goes to each subject except religion subjects I guess.
